When an HDMI cable is used to connect the SX80 Mark II projector to AV equipments or computers, we have discovered that certain projectors with classification numbers shown below may experience one or more of the following phenomena.

Image cannot be projected
Audio is not output from the projector
The resolution of the projection is low
We offer our sincere apologies if your product has been affected and for any inconvenience caused. We will inspect and repair the product free of charge once the product is returned to a Canon Service Centre.

Classification Number A, B or C

 

Now to Identify the Classification Number

The last digit in the serial number is the Classification Number.

For example, if the serial number is JXY00473B, “B” is the Classification Number.
