Canon Australia & Canon New Zealand Bonus Battery Promotion 2025

TERMS AND CONDITIONS

1. Participation in this Canon Australia & Canon New Zealand Bonus Battery Promotion (Promotion) is deemed acceptance of these Terms. Information and instructions on how to participate form part of these Terms.

2. The purchase period starts on 5 June 2025 and ends on 2 July 2025 (Purchase Period).

How to Enter
3. To receive a Bonus Battery, Participants must purchase a new (not pre-owned) Eligible Product during the Purchase Period from an authorised Canon Australia retailer in the Canon Australia distribution channel or an authorised Canon New Zealand retailer in the Canon New Zealand distribution channel (Eligible Purchase).

4. Canon-branded products purchased from any source other than Canon Australia’s and Canon New Zealand’s official distribution channel (including ‘grey’, ‘parallel’ or ‘direct’ imports) are not Canon Australia and Canon New Zealand products, and they are ineligible for this Promotion

If in doubt, or if a particular retailer is not included in this list, please contact the Promoter prior to your purchase to confirm whether the retailer is an authorised Canon Australia reseller. Harvey Norman AU is excluded from this Promotion.

Eligible Purchase
6. Participants who make an Eligible Purchase of an Eligible Product will receive the corresponding Bonus Battery listed in the table below:

7. Each authorised Canon retailer stocks different camera models, and availability of some products in a particular retailer may be limited. This Promotion applies while stocks are available. Contact your retailer for details.

How to Claim
8. In order to receive the Bonus Battery, Participants must claim it from the relevant retailer at the same time that they make the Eligible Purchase. If Participants do not claim the Bonus Battery at the time of purchase, the retailer may agree to provide the Bonus Battery at a later time at their discretion.

9. Where Participants make their Eligible Purchase online, the Bonus Battery may be automatically added to cart, however for some retailers, Participants may be required to manually add the Bonus Battery to the cart in order to redeem.

Liability
10. Nothing in these Terms limits, excludes or modifies or purports to limit, exclude, or modify the statutory consumer guarantees as provided under the Competition and Consumer Act 2010 (Cth), the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993 (NZ) or similar consumer protection laws in the State and Territories of Australia and New Zealand (Non-Excludable Guarantees).

11. Except for any liability that cannot by law be excluded, including the Non-Excludable Guarantees, the Promoter (including its respective officers, employees and agents) is not responsible for and excludes all liability for any personal injury or any loss or damage (including loss of opportunity), whether direct, indirect, special or consequential, arising in any way out of this Promotion including (but not limited to) out of: (a) any technical difficulties or equipment malfunction (whether or not under the Promoter’s control); (b) any theft, unauthorised access or third party interference; (c) any Entry or Prize claim that is late, lost, altered, damaged or misdirected due to any reason beyond the reasonable control of the Promoter; (d) any tax liability incurred by a Participant; or (e) use of the Prize.

General
12. The Promoter will use reasonable efforts to ensure that the timeframes specified in these Terms are met, but Participants accept that time frames may vary due to circumstances outside the Promoter’s reasonable control, including but not limited to postal delays or delays in bank processing.

13. All money amounts in these Terms are inclusive of GST.

14. The Participant agrees that if they return an Eligible Product under any returns (change of mind) policy the retailer may have, they will also return the Bonus Battery to the retailer.

15. If any provision of these Terms is unenforceable for any reason, such provision shall be severed from these Terms and the remaining Terms will remain in full force and effect.

16. These Terms are governed by the laws in New South Wales for Eligible Purchases made in Australia and all Participants submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the Courts of New South Wales.

17. Where Eligible Purchases are made in New Zealand, these Terms are governed by the laws in New Zealand, and all Participants submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the Courts of New Zealand.
