Canon Advantage Chance to Win Competition 2026

Terms and Conditions (Terms)

1. These terms and conditions govern the participation in this Canon Advantage Chance to Win Competition (Competition). Information and instructions on how to participate form part of these Terms.

2. Participation in this Competition is deemed acceptance of these Terms.

3. By communicating this Competition to Participants (as defined in clause 8 below), photo specialty retailers in Australia and New Zealand (Retail Partners) who are registered in the Canon Advantage Training Portal (Portal) agree to be bound by these Terms, and to ensure that Participants comply with these Terms.

4. Participants consent to receiving marketing communications and information from the Promoter regarding the latest offers and promotions for Canon products and services. Participants may opt out of communications at any time.

Eligibility

5. This Competition is only open to individual Australian and New Zealand residents who:
a. are employees or contractors engaged in a sales, customer service or retail management role with a Retail Partner;
b. have received a link from the Promoter to the Portal; and
c. have successfully at 9:00am AEST or 9:00am NZST on 3 January 2026 and ends at 5:00pm AEST or 5:00pm NZST on 16 February 2026 (Competition Period).enrolled as a Participant on the Portal (Participants).

6. OfficeWorks’ employees and contractors are not eligible to take part in this Competition.

7. Participants who are under the age of 18 must have the written consent of their parent or legal guardian to enter this Competition.

How to Enter

8. From 3 January 2026, the Promoter will announce the Competition by displaying promotional materials at the Retail Partners’ in-store locations, and a video on the Portal.

9. To enter this Competition and enter into the draw for the Prize (Entry), Participants must, during the Competition Period:
a. be signed up to the Canon Advantages Program,
b. and complete the Canon Disney Promotion plan in the Portal

10. Only one Entry per person is permitted for the Competition.

Judging

11. This Competition is a game of chance and the Winners will be selected by random draws.

12. Subject to clause 24, the first 100 Participants, drawn at random, will each win the Prize (Winners).

13. The Promoter's decision is final, and no correspondence will be entered into./p>

Double Movie Passes Prize

14. Winners of the Disney promotion will receive 2 x standard movie passes to see a Disney movie (Prize). Movie passes are subject to the conditions specified under the Prize Restrictions set out in these terms.

15. The total prize pool is valued at AUD $2,750.

Prize Restrictions

16. Prizes can be redeemed in person or online for 2 tickets to a Disney movie at HOYTS Cinemas in the country that the Participant is resident in (either Australia or New Zealand).

17. Each Prize will be valid until 31 December 2026 for general admission sessions of each movie title only.; Upgrade fees will apply for select experiences and seating concepts, applicable at the time of redemption. The Prize vouchers cannot be upgraded to HOYTS LUX, HOYTS Daybed and/or IMAX sessions and cannot, nor can they be redeemed for special or group events.

18. Participants can redeem their Prize within 6 weeks of the release date of the relevant Disney film, or until the film stops showing at HOYTS, whichever comes sooner. Seats are not guaranteed and are subject to availability, and Participants are responsible for redeeming their movie tickets in accordance with these Terms.

19. The Prize cannot be used on Saturdays or Sundays for sessions beginning after 2:00pm local time, nor for any sessions on public holidays.

20. Booking fees apply for online redemptions, however Participants can redeem their movie tickets in cinema to avoid booking fees.

21. The Prize is eligible for use across all Disney movies including (but not limited to) movies by Walt Disney Animation, Disney Pixar, Marvel Studios, Lucas Film, 20th Century Studios, and Searchlight Pictures.

Claiming the Prizes

22. The draw will take place at 3:00pm AEST (5:00pm NZST) on 18 February 2026 at the head office of the Promoter at Building A, The Park Estate, 5 Talavera Road, Macquarie Park NSW 2113, subject to any directions from a regulatory authority. The first 50 valid Entries will be deemed the Winners.

23. Winners will be notified in writing via email by 5:00pm (AEST) on 19 February 2026.

24. Winners must respond to the Promoter’s notification within 14 days and provide any details requested.

25. No responsibility is accepted by the Promoter for any Entry that is late, lost or misdirected, or if a Prize Winner does not claim their Prize in accordance with these Terms.

Prize Processing

26. The Promoter will deliver the Disney Promotion Prize to Winner’s email.

27. If a Prize for the Disney Promotion is forfeited by a Winner for any reason (including by not providing a correct delivery address for the Prize to be delivered to, or not providing suitable proof of their eligibility, not being eligible to enter into the Prize ), or if a Winner does not claim their Prize within 14 days in accordance with the Promoter’s instructions, the Promoter will conduct a secondary draw for an alternate winner at 3:00pm AEST (5:00pm NZST) on 12 March 2026 at the head office of the Promoter at The Park Estate, 5 Talavera Road, Macquarie Park NSW 2113, subject to any directions from a regulatory authority. Winners of the secondary draw will be notified in writing within seven (7) days of the secondary draw taking place.

28. The Promoter will notify the Winners of the Promotion in writing of the result of the draw within seven (7) days of the draw.

29. The Winners must provide their correct names and email addresses to the Promoter in writing to claim their Prize.

30. Where possible, the Promoter will send the prizes to the winners of the Promotion by email within 3 weeks of notifying the relevant winner of their win.

31. The names of the Winners will be given to the Retail Partner’s head office. Each Winner consents to the Retail Partner and Promoter publishing their name in an announcement on the Promoter’s ‘Canon Advantage Channel’ located in the Portal within 30 days of the Winners being drawn.

Participant’s Warranties and Indemnity

32. The Promoter is not liable for any costs and claims in connection with a failure by itself to comply with these Terms.

33. Each Participant agrees that they are fully responsible for each Entry they submit. To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Promoter excludes any liability, or any costs borne by the Participant in submitting their Entry.

34. This Competition is in no way endorsed, sponsored or affiliated with Myagi Software. The Promoter is not liable for any costs and claims arising in connection with a failure by Myagi Software service provider to comply with these Terms, or otherwise arising in connection with this Competition.

35. Participants agree the Prize may be regarded as benefits inkind and be liable to taxes, including fringe benefits tax. Participants and their employer are liable for all such taxes. The Promoter recommends Participants and the Retail Partner obtain independent tax advice in this regard.

36. By accepting these Terms, the Participants confirm they have reviewed and accepted the policies, terms and conditions of Myagi software.

Conditions that may Invalidate Entries, Participants or the Competition

37. The Promoter reserves the right to reject, disqualify, remove, or moderate any Entry that it determines, in its sole discretion, does not fit the criteria set out in these Terms.

38. If this Competition is interfered with in any way or is not capable of being conducted as reasonably anticipated by the Promoter, including but not limited to technical difficulties, unauthorised intervention or fraud, the Promoter reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to the fullest extent permitted by law:
a. to disqualify any Participant; or
b. modify, suspend, terminate, or cancel the Competition as appropriate.

39. The Promoter reserves the right to disqualify any Participant it finds to be tampering with the entry process or the operation of the Competition or to be acting in violation of these Terms.

40. Errors and omissions may be accepted at the Promoter's discretion. Failure by the Promoter to enforce any of its rights at any stage does not constitute a waiver of those rights.

Privacy

41. The Promoter collects personal information in order to conduct this Competition. The Promoter may, for the purpose of conducting this Competition, disclose such information to third parties, including agents, contractors, service providers, suppliers and, as required, to regulatory agencies. Participation is conditional on providing this information.

42. Information about Participants may be published as set out in these Terms. Personal information collected by the Promoter will be managed in accordance with its Privacy Policy (www.canon.com.au/privacy-policy or www.canon.co.nz/privacy-policy).

Liability

43. Nothing in these Terms limits, excludes or modifies or purports to limit, exclude, or modify the statutory consumer guarantees as provided under the Competition and Consumer Act 2010 (Cth) the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993 (NZ) or similar consumer protection laws in the States and Territories of Australia and in New Zealand (NonExcludable Guarantees).

44. Except for any liability that cannot by law be excluded, including the Non-Excludable Guarantees, the Promoter (including its respective officers, employees and agents) and any other party associated with the Promotion is not responsible for and excludes all liability for any personal injury or any loss or damage (including loss of opportunity), whether direct, indirect, special or consequential, arising in any way out of this Competition including (but not limited to) out of: (a) any technical difficulties or equipment malfunction (whether or not under the Promoter’s control); (b) any theft, unauthorised access or third party interference; (c) any Entry that is late, lost, altered, damaged or misdirected (whether or not after their receipt by the Promoter) due to any reason beyond the reasonable control of the Promoter; (d) any tax liability incurred by a Participant; or (e) use of the Gift.

General

45. These Terms may change, and the Promoter will inform Participants in writing of any changes as soon as reasonably possible.

46. The Promoter will use reasonable efforts to ensure that the timeframes specified in these Terms are met, but Participants accept that time frames may vary due to circumstances outside the Promoter’s reasonable control, including but not limited to postal delays or delays in bank processing.

47. Unless otherwise expressly stated in these Terms, all money amounts in these Terms are in Australian Dollars inclusive of GST.

48. The Walt Disney Company, and each of their respective parent, affiliates, and subsidiaries are not responsible for the promotion, administration or execution of the promotion.

49. If any provision of these Terms is unenforceable for any reason, such provision shall be severed from these Terms and the remaining Terms will remain in full force and effect.

50. These Terms are governed by the laws of New Zealand or in New South Wales or as applicable to jurisdiction of each Prize draw. All Participants submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the Courts of New South Wales or New Zealand, as applicable.
