The RF 1200mm f/8 L IS USM allows you to shoot even further, with superior L-Series quality glass and in built Image Stabilization. From wildlife to sports, this lens will allow you to get up an personal with your subjects.

  • High image quality in an L-Series lens

    The high image quality suited to L lenses can capture clear images with high clarity from the centre of the frame to the periphery throughout the entire zoom range.

  • Lighter than its EF equivalent

    The RF 1200mm f/8 L IS USM is an incredible 80% lighter than the EF equivalent, thanks to its new design with optics placed towards the back of the lens.

Equipped with Image Stabilizer

Reduce the appearance of camera shake. The lens itself is equipped with up to 4 stops of Image Stabilization. The IS mode switch on the lens also enables you to select the best mode for your shooting needs: IS mode 1 for still subjects, IS mode 2 for panning and IS mode 3 for irregular movement.

  • Extender Compatibility

    See further with RF 1.4x and RF 2x extenders, and reach up to 2400mm in zoom. This allows you to utilise the current 1200mm lens without having to carry around multiple super zoom lenses, whilst also capturing sharp telephoto images.

  • Professional Build

    The RF 1200mm f/8 L IS USM features a dust and drip resistant construction, allowing you to photograph in most weather situations. The vibration and shock resistant build also allows for peace of mind when travelling and moving equipment from location to location.
