Affected Models
PIXMA MG3560 Black model:
The printer serial number is KJEX0001 or later and the firmware version is 1.041.
If your printer’s firmware version is 1.020, 1.030, or 1.040, the phenomenon does not occur.
PIXMA MG3560 White model:
The printer serial number is KJFR0001 or later and the firmware version is 1.041.
If your printer’s firmware version is 1.020, 1.030, or 1.040, the phenomenon does not occur.
PIXMA MG3560 Red model:
The printer serial number is KJGD0001 or later and the firmware version is 1.041.
If your printer’s firmware version is 1.020, 1.030, or 1.040, the phenomenon does not occur.

The serial number label is attached to the right back of the printer (the red-circled location in the photo below).

Support
As a temporary solution, unplug the printer power cord, wait for two minutes or longer, then plug the power cord in again. The printer will turn on when you press the ON button.
After the printer is turned on, upgrade the firmware to version 1.051 by downloading it from the Canon Australia website.
If you see the message below when you attempt to upgrade the firmware, click OK to close the message.
Your printer does not need to be upgraded.
You only need to upgrade if your printer’s serial number and firmware version fall within the affected units listed above.
