Digital Photo Professional 4 is a genuine, Canon-made application for browsing, selecting, and developing RAW images. It is equipped with various image adjustment functions in the Picture Style format and allows the user to make speedy image adjustments with freedom.

Note: For display and playback of movies with 8K / 4K resolution, we recommend use of a Mac equipped with a GPU manufactured by AMD or NVIDIA.
Even if the system requirements are satisfied, smooth playback may not be possible.

- Below are the system requirements for enabling display of HDR images on a HDR display.
Mac with Apple Pro Display XDR connected.
Mac with Liquid Retina XDR Display.
A Mac with a display that can turn on [High Dynamic Range] in [System Preferences] - [Displays].

- The following environment is required in order to use "RAW movie tool".

Setup Instructions

Please refer to the instructions below on how to download and install the software.
Exit all other applications when installing this software.

1. In the download page, input the serial number of the camera body printed on the label and download "dppm***-installer.dmg.zip".
2. Extract "dppm***-installer.dmg.zip" on the computer to generate "dppm***-installer.dmg".
3. Double-click "dppm***-installer.dmg" to display the disk icon "DPP***" on the desktop.
4. Double-click "DPP***" to open it, then double-click "dppm***-installer".
5. Follow the on-screen instructions to complete the installation.

Caution

- In Apple Silicon environment, when playing MP4/MOV movie, the app set in Finder will be launched. Also, RAW Movie Tool are not available.
- The recipes in Digital Photo Professional 4-series cannot be used interchangeably with the recipes in Digital Photo Professional 1 through Digital Photo Professional 3.
- Movies recorded with the EOS R1, EOS R5 Mark II, EOS R50 V cannot be played back by this software (except RAW format). Use the latest version of Canon XF Utility.
- EOS D6000 and EOS D2000 require conversion to .CR2 using CR2 Converter.
