Setup Instructions
Please refer to the instructions below on how to download and install the software. Exit all other applications when installing this software. 1. Download "EOSWebcamUtility-WIN1.2.zip" from the download page. Save the "EOSWebcamUtility-WIN1.2.zip" file to a folder of your preference on your computer.
2. When the "EOSWebcamUtility-WIN1.2.zip" folder saved to the computer is extracted, the "EOSWebcamUtility-WIN1.2" will be generated, so double-click "Setup.exe" in the extracted folder. Installation of EOS Webcam Utility will begin. (If the User Account Control window appears, follow the on-screen instructions to proceed.)
3. Follow the on-screen instructions to complete the installation.
4. After the installation is complete, you must restart your computer to apply these changes. If the installation is completed properly, the downloaded file and the "EOSWebcamUtility-WIN1.2.zip" file will no longer be necessary.
Caution
Uninstall EOS Webcam Utility Beta software on your computer if installed, before you install EOS Webcam Utility 1.2 software on your computer.
The camera can only operate with one application on your computer at a time. If the video conferencing or streaming application you are trying to use cannot receive the video feed from your camera, close all other applications on your computer that may be connected to the camera.
When using EOS Webcam Utility 1.2 software with Facebook messenger on the Firefox browser, EOS Webcam Utility will not be listed as a function on your device. We recommend that you use the desktop version of Facebook messenger or utilize a different browser.
We cannot guarantee the compatibility of the EOS Webcam Utility 1.2 with all video conferencing and/or streaming applications on the market. If you experience any issues, we recommend using an alternative video conferencing or streaming application and/or browser.
When using EOS Webcam Utility 1.2 software, please make sure to use the latest firmware of the connected camera to achieve optimal performance.
