Executing Calibration

1. Prepare your scanner according to the type of item to be scanned.

For scanning paper/photo, put the protective sheet to the document cover.

For scanning film, remove the protective sheet from the document cover and set the film guide.

For Paper/PhotoFor Film

Do not block the calibration slot (1) on the film guide when scanning film.

Colors will not be scanned correctly if the calibration slot is obstructed.

2. Close the document cover.

3. Start ScanGear to calibrate the scanner.

(1) Click the [Advanced Mode] tab.

(2) Select the type of the document in [Select Source] of [Input Settings].

(2) Select the type of the document from the pull-down menu of [Select Source].

(3) Scroll down the scroll bar on the right of [Image Settings] to display [Calibration Settings].

If you set [Execute at Every Scan] to [ON], the scanner will be calibrated every time.
