Supported DVD discs
The following DVD discs can be used with the DW-100 DVD Burner.
A DVD-R disc can only be recorded once.
A DVD-R DL disc has a memory capacity that is approximately 1.8 times the capacity of a DVD-R disc and has a longer recording time.
There are two recordable dye layers on one side of a DVD-R DL disc, so data is first recorded to the first layer, and then to the second layer. In standard definition, if a movie is recorded to both layers, a noticeable pause of about a second may result during playback due to a change of layers.
A DVD-RW disc can be recorded repeatedly.
However, a disc erased by other devices may not be reused.
Type of Discs and Possible Operations
Possible operations vary by disc.
When choosing recording DVD discs, please confirm the type of disc, version, and drive speed, which are indicated on the package. Please also check the information on both sides of the package.
