Firmware Version 1.4.0 incorporates the following enhancement: 1. Adds [Mode 2: Indoor Priority] to the camera's menu as a shooting mode setting. Compared to [Mode 1: Standard], [Mode 2: Indoor Priority] takes sharper photos with darker colors and less noise for prioritizing the finish of photos in scenes with relatively little human movement indoors.
*This change requires updating the smartphone/tablet software Connect app for Mini PTZ Cam to version 1.4.0 or higher along with updating the camera firmware.

If the camera's firmware is already Version 1.4.0, it is not necessary to update the firmware.

Preparations for a firmware update: Copy the downloaded firmware to the card and insert the card into the camera. Update the camera from the settings screen of the Connect app for Mini PTZ Cam.
In the folder you downloaded are the firmware ( PSP00140.FI2 / file size: 9,313,296 bytes) and instructions on the firmware update procedures (a PDF file in five languages: Japanese, English, French, Spanish, and Simplified Chinese). Before starting the firmware update operations, please be sure to carefully review the instructions to confirm your understanding of the firmware update procedures.
(The following is the history of past firmware updates) Changes in version 1.3.0: Adds "Tracking Assist" function that detects and tracks moving objects even when a person's face can’t be detected during video recording.
Changes in version 1.2.0: 1. Adds Korean language as an option for voice commands. 2. Allows the user to assign the shutter release function to the wireless communication button. *It is necessary to update the smartphone/tablet software Connect app for Mini PTZ Cam to version 1.2.0 or later.
Changes in version 1.1.0: 1. Adds support for Webcam operation using PC application "Wireless Webcam Utility for Mini PTZ Cam*". *The supported OS is Windows only.
