Solution
This section explains the meanings of the red icons and what to do when a red icon appears on the LCD monitor.
| Icon | Problem/Solution |
 | No cassette, or the cassette is protected. < Solution > - Load a cassette. - Check whether the position of the protect switch is set to REC. |
 | Battery is exhausted. < Solution > - Replace with a well-charged battery. - Charge the battery |
 | Water droplets detected inside the camcorder. (Condensation) < Solution > - Remove the cassette tape, and put it in a dry area for about 1 hour. |
 | A card error occurred. < Solution > - Turn off the camcorder. Remove and reinsert the memory card. If the icon continues to flash, initialize the memory card. |
 | No card, or the card is protected. < Solution > - Insert a card. - Unlock it if the position of the protect switch is set to LOCK. |
