How do I fit the camcorder to a tripod?

Canon does not sell camcorder tripods. It is advisable to use a commercially available tripod depending on the camcorder model being used.

Do not use tripods with fastening screws longer than 5.5 mm, as they may damage the camcorder. The camcorder cannot be mounted on tripods with fixed camera positioning pins.

By replacing the tripod adapter base with the supplied tripod adapter base, this camcorder can be used on a tripod with 3/8" screws.

In addition, by using the optional TA-100 Tripod Adapter , you can fix the camcorder on a tripod in a more secure and speedier manner.
