Detail

Firmware Version 1.0.3 incorporates the following fixes:
1. Fixes a phenomenon in which the camera model name "EOS 200D II" is incorrectly displayed in the image information for the software applications.
2. Fixes a phenomenon in which some units of EOS 200D II cannot be connected to the Mac version of EOS Utility.

Note: Firmware Version 1.0.3 is for the EOS 200D II, and users of the EOS Rebel SL3/EOS 250D do not need to update the firmware.

Firmware Version 1.0.3 is for cameras with firmware up to Version 1.0.2. If the camera's firmware is already Version 1.0.3, it is not necessary to update the firmware.

Preparations for a firmware update:
After the downloaded compressed file (.zip) is extracted, a firmware folder is created.

*Extracting the downloaded file:
Right-click the zip file, and then select Extract All to extract the file.

In the folder you downloaded are the firmware ( CCF20103.FIR / file size: 36,010,768 bytes) and instructions on the firmware update procedures (a PDF file in five languages: Japanese, English, French, Spanish, and Simplified Chinese). Before starting the firmware update operations, please be sure to check the procedure in accordance with the instruction.

Changes in Version 1.0.2:
1. Corrects a PTP communications vulnerability.
2. Corrects a vulnerability related to firmware update.

Changes in Version 1.0.1:
1. When the Bluetooth remote controller is enabled within the Camera Connect App, the camera's auto power off function will be automatically disabled in the camera's menu.
