The RF 600mm f/4L IS USM inherits the superior optics of it's EF counterpart and displays both high-image quality and light mobility. It delivers clear and sharp images, expressing the detail from the centre to the edge of the frame at maximum aperture.
The high durability, shock, dust and drip-resistant construction, helps the RF 600mm f/4L IS USM withstand even the most rugged shooting locations.
The RF 600mm f/4L IS USM has a minimum focusing distance of 4.2m allowing you to get closer to your subject compared to the EF equivalent. The lens allows you to also get a smooth bokeh that beautifully draws your subject out from the background.
The RF 600mm f/4L IS USM supports the EOS R system’s high-speed continuous shooting. Shoot up to 30 frames per second when using the EOS R3's electronic shutter. Capture the action with fast-moving subjects, such as sports or wild animals, without missing a beat.
The lens' powerful 5.5 stop Image Stabilization (IS), when used with the EOS R or EOS R5, counters camera shake that may occur when using a large telephoto lens. It makes for stable shooting even when handheld. Select from three IS modes that is optimised to match your subject's movement.
Aperture control during movie shooting can be set with a resolution of 1/8 step. The brightness can be changed smoothly, even when there is a sudden change in brightness, allowing for natural-looking footage.
