Paper Is Not Fed

Issue

Paper is not fed.

Cause and solution

Appropriate paper is not being used.

Replace the paper with that which can be used with this printer. [Usable Paper]

Cause and solution

Paper is not fed only from the added paper feeder.

Reinstall the paper feeder. [Reinstalling the Paper Feeder]

Cause and solution

The size of the loaded paper and the specified settings are different from each other.

Examples of printing from the paper cassette:

A. The Size of the Loaded PaperB. [Output Size]*1C. [Register Paper Sizes]*2Printer Operation
A5A4A5Because the settings for B and C are different from each other, the message appears, and printing is paused.

Examples of printing from the multi-purpose tray:

If the message appears, perform the following procedures.

If you want to print paper of the size specified for [Output Size]

- Printing from the paper cassette: Load the appropriate paper [Loading Paper in the Paper Cassette], then specify the appropriate paper size for [Register Paper Sizes]. [To Register the Paper Size for the Paper Cassette]

- Printing from the multi-purpose tray: Load the appropriate paper. [Loading Paper in the Multi-purpose Tray]

If you want to print the currently loaded paper

Click [ ] (Resolve Error) in the Printer Status Window.
