- The problem that the Help window gets hidden behind the ScanGear dialog when clicking the Help button of ScanGear in the OS X v10.5 environment has been rectified.
- The problem that the ScanGear is closed immediately when clicking the Preview button or the Scan button after launching ScanGear has been rectified.

Setup Instructions
Download / Installation Procedures 1. Download the file. For the location where the file is saved, check the computer settings. 2. Double-click the downloaded file and mount it on the Disk Image. 3. Double-click the mounted Disk Image. 4. Double-click the packaged file in the folder. Installation starts automatically.
Caution
[OS X v10.8/10.9/10.10] When you try to install the software downloaded from the Canon download library, the message will be displayed and the installer cannot be launched in some instances. Procedures for the installation: 1. While pressing and holding the Ctrl key, click on the installer package file. 2. Select [Open]. 3. "The software is from an unidentified developer. Are you sure want to open it?" is displayed. Select [Open].
[OS X v10.9/10.10] Due to a change in the OS specifications, scanning from the product (by using the SCAN button) is not available. Perform scanning from a PC.
