This is a program to upgrade the MX700 software from versions 1.020 - 1.070 to version 1.080. If your MX700 software version is 1.080 or later, the upgrade is not necessary.

Update History
- During a call on a phone connected to the external device jack of the printer, depending on the usage environment, the printer entered the fax reception mode and the call was terminated. In the new firmware version, this problem is rectified.

Setup Instructions
Download fu123mx700win1080en.exe from the web site to the desktop screen of your computer, and double-click it. It will be decompressed to the fu123mx700win1080en folder. Double-click it to open, and read UpgradeProcedure(Win).htm in the folder.
Caution
If you have the machine with a serial number below, please upgrade the firmware. - Oceania model: AAXW00001 - AAXW10473
- The upgrade cannot be performed via network. - Log on as an Administrator in Windows 7, Vista, Windows XP, or Windows 2000. - Before the upgrade, install the MX700 printer driver to the computer via USB connection. - If your computer OS is Windows XP or Windows 2000, confirm that Enable bidirectional support is selected in the Ports tab of MX700 Properties. - Connect a single MX700series unit to the computer via a USB cable, and disconnect all other printer units. The upgrade cannot be performed properly if two or more printer units are connected to the computer. - Be sure to read UpgradeProcedure(Win).htm.
